Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Scramblio account and your personal data at any time. Deletion is free, immediate, and works whether you signed up with a guest account, email, Google, or Apple.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended, instant)
- 1Open the Scramblio app on your iPhone or Android device.
- 2Tap the Account button on the home screen.
- 3Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom.
- 4Tap Delete my account and confirm the destructive action.
- ✓Your account and data are removed within seconds.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you can't access the app (uninstalled, lost device, etc.), email support@scramblio.app with the subject "Account deletion request". Include any of these so we can find your account: support@scramblio.app
- The email address you signed up with
- Your in-app display name
- Approximate signup date
We respond and complete deletion within 7 business days (usually much faster).
What gets deleted
- Email and password sign-in
- Google / Apple linked credentials
- Display name & profile data
- Virtual coin balance
- Wins, losses, streaks, win rate
- Match history records
- Daily-reward claim history
- In-room chat messages
- Matchmaking tickets in progress
What we retain (and why)
- Your leaderboard rank Is kept, but your display name is replaced with "Deleted player" so other players' standings don't shift.
- Anonymous match records Winner/loser IDs as opaque strings remain for game integrity. They cannot be linked back to you once your auth account is gone.
- A minimal deletion audit Timestamp + the auth provider type only — stored to confirm to regulators that the request was honored. No email, display name, or contact information is retained.
- Purchase receipts If you ever bought coins, they are kept by Apple / Google for their own tax and refund records — we cannot delete those on their behalf, but we strip the link to your account.
Frequently asked
Can I recover my account?
No. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you sign back in with the same email later, a fresh account with 0 coins is created.
Will my purchases be refunded?
In-app coin purchases are not automatically refunded on deletion. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem or Google Play's refund flow within their refund windows.
How fast is in-app deletion?
Seconds. The button calls a Cloud Function that removes your user document, deletes your Firebase Authentication record, and anonymizes any leaderboard entries before returning.
