Choose from 15+ languages and an entry fee in coins. Higher stakes mean bigger pots — with a small platform fee on paid matches.
Step 2: Find or create a room
Find Player matches you at your stake — or a practice bot (🤖) after ~15s. Or create/join a private room with a code.
Step 3: Unscramble & submit
Letters appear scrambled on screen. Type the correct word before your opponent — or before time runs out. Need help? Reveal up to three letters at a time cost.
Step 4: Win, repeat, climb
Winner takes the pot. Hit Next Round for rematches, track your streak, and push up the daily and global leaderboards.

Frequently asked
Is Scramblio free to play?
Yes. The app is free to download and play. You start with a coin balance and earn more through daily rewards and winning matches. Optional in-app coin packs are available but never required to play.
Are coins real money?
No. Coins are virtual items used only inside Scramblio. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for real money, and are not transferable outside the app. This is a skill-based word game, not gambling.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play instantly as a guest. Creating a free email or Google account lets you save your coins, stats, and leaderboard rank across devices — and earns you a one-time +50 coin welcome bonus.
How does matchmaking work?
Tap Find Player to queue for your language and entry fee. You only match someone at the same stake. The screen also shows players waiting at other fees — they won't join your game. Pairing is server-side and fair. Or create a private room and share a code with a friend.
What is the practice bot?
If nobody joins your Find Player queue within about 15 seconds, a practice opponent (🤖 BOT badge) can fill in. It uses at most a 5-coin stake, solves the word correctly after a random 15–52 second delay, and does not count on leaderboards. Beat it before it answers to win the round. Letter hints work the same as vs a human.
What languages are supported?
English, Romanian, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Hungarian, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Dutch — with more added regularly.
How do letter hints work?
Only on words longer than four letters. You can reveal up to three letters — only you see them. Each hint costs 1 coin (house fee) and 8 seconds off your personal timer. Your opponent gets a notice but not the letters.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — in under 10 seconds. Open the app → Account → Danger zone → Delete my account. Or visit our delete-account page for the full process and what data is removed.
